No security updates, technical support, customer support, poor 5G connection, overheating issues!

To be honest, it doesn't matter how shiny Red Magic 6s Pro Ghost phone looks like. There are four things that define great phone: 1. Nubia Technical Support is a complete disaster. They call it "Concern Department" just to be funny here. Common, it takes literally months to get response from the "Concern Department" and at the end it will always be not what you hoped for. 2. Customer support has been outsourced to the India where honestly nobody gives the crack about your problem. I called Indian Customer Support 5 times for the same issue; they would promise to send you something and they never do. Problem literally never gets resolved! NUBIA YOU SHOULD RE-THINK OUTSOURCING ANYTHING TO INDIA WHERE AVERAGE IQ IS ARROUND 2-5. 3. I have both Samsung S21 Ultra (12GB/512GB) and Red Magic 6s Pro Ghost Edition and let me tell you Samsung have 5 years or security patches that coming as soon as they become available. I am currently running on Samsung August 2022 patch, and it is August 2022. On my Red Magic 6s Pro I am still stuck with October 2021 security patch. Nubia Development Department is probably one of the worst in the entire cell phone industry. 4. Red Magic 6s Pro phone have some very serious overheating issues. I love gaming on the phone and comparing to the Red Magic 5s, that was never overheating even after prolong gaming, Red Magic 6s Pro is a complete disaster. Heating problem results in the very fast battery drainage. This is the last time I am buying Red Magic phone. If you somewhere in China maybe technical and customer support somewhat better, but if you located in the USA do yourself a favor and buy Samsung, Apple, or any other brand that has better reception and support for 5G, 4G, 3G, and 2G. I get 250Mb/s 5G connection on my Samsung, and literally 6-9 Mb/s 5G connection on my Red Magic 6s Pro. Very poor coverage if you live in the United States.

Excellent phone and efficient to boot

Been using this phone for over a year and I find it the most practical when playing games and watching videos. The battery lasts nearly a whole day when not in heavy use, and up to 6 or 7 hours when gaming (with the fast charger, the battery charges to 100 percent in approximately 45 minutes). However, the most practical feature of this phone I find is not the high refresh rate, graphics (hell not even the rear touch sensor) but rather its "Charge Separation" feature. This feature allows you to power your phone directly when plugged in, bypassing the battery which is a HUGE lifesaver when it come to battery life. The feature is found in it's special gaming mode when you flip a switch on its left side. However, what most people don't realize, you can put almost any APP in this mode and use the features (not just games!). Therefore you can add your browser, PS connect, or netflix app to the gaming mode when activated, and use Charge Seperation whenever you have a power source available! Therefore not only can you enjoy long hours of gaming without frying your battery when plugged in, but also when watching your movies, browsing youtube videos, or even streaming your playstation games with connected control!

Red magic 6s pro ghost

I originally bought this phone because of the amazing specs that it has and for the price of a cheaper smartphone. The 6s pro ghost has really great specs however the battery is a thing that needs definitely a lot of work on. The fast charging is amazing but it severely decimates the battery life. When I got the phone the battery would last about a day and a half of normal use now when it is at 100% charge it usually only lasts about 8 hours. Something that red magic should do is look into it different types of batteries and how they would wear down because this fast charging is great but it also kills the battery life very quickly. I've not even had my phone for a year, I think I've only had it for 3 or 4 months and the battery life has been reduced to a third of its normal life. Also the headphone jack could be looked at a little bit with support. Now the audio jack is also starting to go a little bit. Other than the battery life and the audio jack I don't have any complaints.

Solid phone, loud fan

Very nice phone super happy with it overall. Fan was noticeable louder after a week of usage and now I don't use it at all for fear of it scraping against other parts.
