REDMAGIC has had quite a few exciting reveals this month, from our REDMAGIC 10 Air launch to the incredible competitions and discounts we had in store for our loyal customers. Now, we’re looking to answer some of the burning questions that some people may have to help you have the best gaming and overall experience with us.
What Is the Difference Between the REDMAGIC 10 Pro and the REDMAGIC 10 Air?
What Are Some of the REDMAGIC Plugins You Can Use for Compatible Games?
Which Games Are Currently Compatible with REDMAGIC’s Frame Rate Boosting?
REDMAGIC just released its latest flagship gaming smartphone, the REDMAGIC 10 Air. However, you might be wondering how it differs from the previously released 10 Pro that’s also available. Essentially, the 10 Air is meant to be a lighter, more affordable option in the REDMAGIC range. When it comes to performance, the 10 Air runs on Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, which is enhanced by RedCore R3 and Energy Cube Technology and has an up to 120Hz refresh rate. The 10 Pro, on the other hand, uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and a refresh rate of up to 144Hz.
The 10 Air is also significantly slimmer and lighter, with a 76.6mm width and a weight of 205g. The 10 Pro has a 76.14mm width and a weight of 229g. The 10 Air also comes with a 6,000 mAh battery and 80W fast charging, while the 10 Pro is fitted with a 7,050mAh dual battery and up to 100W of fast charging. Both phones still offer exceptional power, endurance, cooling, and gaming capabilities. The choice between them depends on your specific needs and budget.
REDMAGIC gaming devices feature some incredible plugins that elevate your gaming capabilities and skills in unique and exciting ways. These are some of the main plugins you can use with REDMAGIC:
Scout Mode: Enhances targeting precision by zooming in on distant enemies for better visibility.
Auxiliary Line: Improves shooting accuracy by allowing players to set benchmarks on the screen.
AI Trigger: Enable automatic actions for instant and responsive gameplay.
Custom Crosshair: Allows users to personalize their crosshair in shooting games to enhance aiming precision.
Motion Control: When enabled, Motion Operations provides intuitive gameplay by mapping your physical device movements to on-screen actions - meaning that tilting left, tilting right, lifting to the left or right side, lifting the top, or lifting the bottom are seamlessly translated into on-screen tap actions and offer a new dimension of control.
Counter & Game Event Tracking: Allows users to track the gacha pull counts per session while logging critical gameplay moments like zone shrinking, revival counts and displaying a floating window on the game interface to mark key events for better in-game awareness.
Flexible Recording: Captures gameplay moments with precision through forward or backward recording, enabling different event-based recording directions - such as backward recording for kills and forward recording for gacha pulls, while also allowing players to customize the recording length before and after a triggered event.
Screen Extraction: Displays critical in-game information in whichever convenient viewing location is chosen by the player, rather than in the typical hard-to-see corners you’d usually find it.
Custom Display: Allows users to adjust the aspect ratios between Fullscreen, 4:3, 16:9, or Original, force landscape, or portrait mode - optimizing their view and even uncovering hidden game content that only appears after switching ratios. This plugin is optimized for tablets and foldable devices for seamless adaptation to larger screens.
Pre-Download Resource Packs: Allows users to seamlessly download game updates in advance, removing the waiting time for game launches and automatically downloading when your screen is off, your device is charging, and the Wi-fi is connected. If a download is incomplete when a game is launched, it will simply continue in the background to ensure a seamless gaming experience.
Each of these plugins helps in some way across every game and will make winning easier.
Currently, there are several mainstream games compatible with REDMAGIC’s Frame Rate Boosting technology, and many more that will soon be added. For now, compatible games include:
Genshin Impact
COD Mobile
Clash of Clans
Wild Rift
Honkai Impact 3
Arknights
Arena Breakout: Infinite
Clash Royale
Pokémon Unite
The REDMAGIC Mora AI assistant has been a consistent part of all our devices for many years now. As REDMAGIC’s mascot and personalized assistant, Mora seamlessly integrates into daily activities, adding a touch of personal interaction and entertainment to your daily tasks. Typically, Mora will appear as a tiny icon in the corner of the screen when you open the REDMAGIC Game Space. You need to simply tap the icon to activate and interact with her. You can then add a shortcut to your home screen and enable specific Mora features as you see fit.
If you encounter any problems with the speakers on your REDMAGIC device, including no sound, low sound, interpreted sound, or anything disrupting the audio, please follow these simple troubleshooting steps.
Ensure that your device is not in silent mode and that the volume settings have been appropriately set.
Ensure that your phone’s firmware is up to date. Look in “Settings" > "System" > "Advanced" > "System Update". If an update is available, please update your phone, then see if the problem persists.
Ensure that the issue is on your end of the phone for call disruptions and not a result of bad signal or other network issues on the other caller’s phone.
Test out the sound on the phone by playing a video and seeing if the speaker works. To narrow down the issue, try testing it out with earphones as well. If the sound plays from the earphones and not directly from the phone, then the issue might be related to the speaker.
If the issue continues, please contact our support team for further assistance.
If you find that your fingerprint scanner is defective and not responding, please follow the troubleshooting steps below:
Ensure that every side of your finger has been registered properly when adding your fingerprint.
Ensure that your fingers are not dirty or covered by anything when registering your fingerprint.
Ensure that there is no liquid, dust, or obstructing materials between the sensor and your finger when unlocking the device.
Be sure to wipe the scanner area frequently with a clean cloth to prevent residue and buildup.
Press your finger down firmly to unlock. If that doesn’t work, try pressing very lightly.
Try restarting the device, then using the fingerprint scanner again.
Ensure that the phone’s firmware is updated.
If nothing else works, delete all the fingerprints and register them again.
If the issue continues, please contact our support team for further assistance.
Yes. Rooting and unlocking the bootloader of your phone carries several risks that REDMAGIC will not be held liable for and that your warranty will not cover. We strongly suggest that you only root or unlock the bootloader of your REDMAGIC device if you are confident in your understanding of the risks involved.
